Photography has been a constant from the time I first picked up a camera with the intention of recording what I saw as aesthetic beauty. Naturally, I looked to Ontario's magnificent landscapes and did so for many years before venturing abroad in search of something else. I travelled often and was far away from home when I began to experiment with a different kind of topography —the human face. Through my lens, I encountered captivating, diverse faces, from people living ordinary lives to those living with unimaginable circumstances. To this day photography remains one of my greatest teachers in observation and compassion for the natural world and the diversity of the people within it. The galleries above are a record of my adventures around the globe, the people I have met along the way and my beautiful province of Ontario.
